Alba- Episode 2 Summary & Recap
Need to disappear
When Bruno regained consciousness, he received a phone call threatening to kill him and Alba if they continued going to the police. The next morning, Alba received results that tests revealed that there were semen from 4 individuals when she was raped. Alba was shocked and Bruno was even more convinced that he had taken part in the rape. Miriam, who had received the money asked Alba to go back to Madrid because her being around will only cause more problems for Toño. Bruno joined in and persuaded Alba to leave and forget everything. After saying goodbye to Bego, Alba and Bruno left for Madrid.
Meanwhile, in the Entrerrío household, everyone was shocked that Victor had passed and that he had given a large amount of shares to his daughter in law, Mercedes. Victor’s son and Mercedes’s brother in law, Iván was displeased at what had happened, but Mercedes held her ground. When they were in private, Eloy shared with Mercedes another note Victor left behind for her. It allowed Mercedes access to Victor’s hidden safe, where there were multiple audio recordings. One of them was between Victor and another man named Andrés. They were discussing Emilio Solana. Mercedes’s son, Rubén was supposed to marry the Solana daughter.

One month later, Alba and Bruno were still facing issues as an aftermath of the rape. Bruno could not bring himself tp have sex with Alba because he felt troubled by the thought of raping her. Alba sensed something wrong with Bruno but her psychologist advised that it is common for someone like Bruno to feel guilty for not protecting his girlfriend. One day, after failing to have sex with Bruno, Alba received a call from the police. They asked her to return to her hometown and identify 4 bodies. The police believed that these 4 men who were found dead were Alba’s rapists.
When Alba returned to her hometown, Miriam had set up a new classy restaurant using the money she blackmailed. Everyone thought she had taken a huge loan. During lunch, Bruno received a message from an unknown number telling him that he was being watched. Meanwhile, Alba argued with Miriam because she did not want Miriam to sell Toño’s bar. After that, Alba and Bruno went to the police station and found out that the DNA samples they collected from Alba during her rape was missing. Alba also did not see any tattoos on the 4 dead bodies, and became extremely disturbed by what had happened. Bruno, too, was still affected, and even had a nightmare where he told his aunt that he was one of the people who raped Alba.
Entrerríos family
Trouble ensued within the Entrerríos family. Mercedes tried to take charge of making a deal with Emilio Solana since Rubén was engaged to his daughter. Iván was unhappy as he was the one leading communications with the Solanas. When Emilio tried pushing Mercedes attempts aside because “he had already spoken to her brother in law”, Mercedes threatened him with the audio recording. On top of this, Mercedes tried threatening Eloy with a video recording of him too so that Eloy would not overstep. However, it turns out that Eloy had a video of Mercedes killing Victor that night.
Meanwhile, Hugo felt extremely horrible after raping Alba. He could not properly have sex with another woman and spent his time snorting coke. His father even had to come over to force him to go back to work. Nevertheless, Hugo felt too much guilt and eventually sent a video of himself, Jacobo and Rubén raping Alba to Alba herself. In the email, he told her that he did not expect forgiveness. He then later tried committing suicide at a cliff but could not bring himself to do so.
As for Alba, after a heart to heart talk with Bego, she returned home to Bruno and tried having sex. This time, Bruno managed to go through with it. When Bruno was in the shower, Alba read the email from Hugo.
It was also revealed that Bruno did not actually took part in Alba’s rape. Instead, he arrived at the scene and passed out.
Additional Observations From Episode 2
- Tirso helped Miriam and Toño with the graffiti at the bar. He also watched from behind as Alba left for Madrid.
- Before Bruno left for Madrid, Jacobo again reiterated that Bruno also raped Alba.
- Mercedes started fighting back against her husband, Mariano.
- Jacobo was starting to attend the company’s board meetings. Worried that Rubén would have trouble inheriting the company, Mercedes told her son to join the meetings as well.
- Eloy was behind the missing DNA from Alba’s rape.
